After an enjoyable day in Kent yesterday it was back to virtually birdless Beachy. We covered the Birling/Belle Tout loop and Birling Lane meeting up with RKH & RES who had also covered Shooters Bottom and The Old Trapping Area. Again virtually no migrants on the Head other than 4 Jays which came in over Belle Tout.

Peregrine up to 4, 1 of which was chasing Collared Doves.

Stonechat 4 (At three different sites, so hopefully 3 probable pairs).

Jay 4 came in low over Belle Tout area.

Up to 30 Early Spider Orchids counted at the usual site.
