24 May 2014 Beachy Head Early morning rain then overcast cool, wind S-SE 4-5

We did two sea-watches this morning, 06.30-07.45 and 09.25-10.30, in the hope of catching out a Long-tailed Skua, but needless to say we failed miserably. Very little moving, although another fine close Pomarine Skua with a superb tail, made the sea-watching worth while. We also birded Belle Tout wood and Shooters Bottom but no sign of any new migrants.
