With thunder and lightening out to sea heading our way, we made the most of the first 3 hours covering the Birling area, Shooters Bottom and the Old Trapping area. Surprising, with the stormy conditions no Swifts were moving and just a handful of migrants seen which included good views of a 1stW Nightingale in fresh plumage.
