27 April 2014 Beachy Head Overcast with showers SE 2-3

Met up with RDME and we sea-watched from 06.00-09.35. RHC joined us for some of the time. With a SE wind blowing all night, hopes were high, but we were soon to be disappointed with only a small movement recorded, perhaps due to unsettled weather to the west of us. We briefly checked some of the sites on the Headland but other than a few Greenland Wheatears, night migrants were very much in short supply.
