13 Aug 2014 Beachy Head Overcast becoming sunny and very warm, SW 2-3 increasing 4-5

RDME covered a number of the sites on the Headland and had a small fall of migrants which included our best daily count of Wheatears this year, also a Common Redstart. Again no evidence of any diurnal migration and hirundine numbers are still very low. LP visited Holywell area but only recorded 2 Willow Warblers although he did photograph what appears to be a Wall Lizard (the green-backed variety originates in Italy).
