Arrived with Doreen at 06.15 hrs. to a fine sunny morning with a slight SW breeze. Walked the whole area in just over 5 hours. Another morning with fair numbers of migrants present, although fewer Willow Warblers in the Birling Gap area, than yesterday. Saw Nick Pope at Shooters Bottom, and had a chat with RDME who was ringing in Whitbred Hollow. Bob had another successful morning ringing about 60 birds mainly Willow Warblers but with a nice selection of other migrants. We met up with PN at Belle Toute wood who had just seen a Hobby at Shooters Bottom.
