Arrived with DC at 06.25 hrs, with slight early mist but calm. Sun soon broke through the mist but then a SE breeze picked up. Spent 5 hours walking the area with RJF. Fewer Willow Warblers seen today, but still a selection of common migrants, with the highlight being a Tree Creeper at Birling Gap a scarce bird at Beachy. Met up with RHC in Shooters Bottom and he had a Pied Flycatcher in Hodcombe yesterday. We then saw RKH & RES in the Old Trapping Area and RDME with Sarah and other members of the BHRG in the Hollow. They had another good day's ringing with 90 which included 11 Garden Warblers also fair numbers of Whitethroats etc, but fewer Willow Warblers. Bob also caught a Tree Creeper at the end of last week.
